DRIVERS are being warned to brace themselves for major traffic delays in Southampton today as five cruise ships are in port.
The Queen Elizabeth - bound for Madeira – and Braemar – heading to Lisbon, Portugal – are both due to set off from the city at 4.30pm.
The Saga Sapphire is set to leave at 5pm, while the Aidaprima - heading for Le Havre – is leaving at 9.30pm.
The Saga Pearl II is also in port and will leave at 4pm tomorrow to head to Tenerife.
Drivers could face delays as passengers and cargo travel to the port.
