SOUTHAMPTON'S newest £85million leisure centre will not throw open its doors with a huge fanfare and ceremony.
Rather, WestQuay Watermark will be phased in with a series of what the industry calls "soft openings".
A WestQuay Watermark spokesperson said: "The opening of a number of WestQuay Watermark’s restaurants will happen throughout December, with some hosting soft launches at their discretion to prepare for their first customers.
"To mark these openings, WestQuay Watermark will be holding an official public opening celebration in December, details of which we look forward to sharing shortly.”
Watermark say that so far 86 per cent of the units have beent let.
In addition to the Hollywood Bowl ten-pin bowling and Cinema De Lux, there is a varied menu of eateries including: Casa Brasil, the Real Greek, Project Pie, Franco Manca, Thaikhu, All Bar One, TGI Fridays, Red Dog Saloon, Cau, Bill's, Jamie's Italian, Nando's, Five Guys, Wahaca, Zizzi and Byron.
