A Hampshire hotel has been named as the wedding venue of the year at a prestigious awards ceremony.
The Mill at Gordleton, in Lymington was handed the accolade at the annual Les Routiers awards, which recognises establishments that consistently meet and exceed its membership standards.
Stacey Crouch, general manager at The Mill at Gordleton, which is part of the Upham Pub Group, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award. Our teams work tirelessly to perfect packages for couples’ big day.
“It’s incredible to be recognised by Les Routiers, and even more so in an area we feel so passionate about. We truly cater everything to individual needs – this is one of the most important days of people’s lives, so we ensure it’s nothing short of perfection.
“We strive to offer clients the best service possible, right through from the proposal to the big day itself, our teams are on hand to offer any additional support they might need. We would of course like to thank our lovely couples for the recommendations and our hard-working teams. We’ve seen hundreds of newlyweds celebrate here with us and long may this continue.”
The competitive judging process is based on overall performance, customer feedback, customer reviews, and overall recommendations. The Mill at Gordleton were up against stiff competition with nine other entrants to finally swoop the prize for this category.
