A MAN was caught over both the drink-drive and drug limits in Southampton.
Luke Colin Stokes, 22, of Woodlands Way, Bursledon, admitted driving over the legal limit in Hamble Lane, Southampton, and possessing cocaine, both on February 4.
He was found with 55 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of his breath - the legal limit is 35.
Southampton Magistrates’ Court heard Stokes also had 25 milligrammes of cocaine per litre of his blood when the legal limit is 10.
As well as this he also had 200 milligrammes of Benzoylecgonine - a main compounds in cocaine per litre of his blood. The limit is 50.
Stokes was fined £500, ordered to pay a £50 victim surcharge and £85 in costs. He was also disqualified from driving for 20 months.
