POLICE were called to a Hampshire school after a "verbal dispute" in the street.
A witness, who did not want to be identified, told the Daily Echo that a cordon was set up at Netley Abbey Infant School on Thursday morning.
A school spokesman declined to comment on the matter but police were at the scene at about midday.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "I can confirm we received reports that there had been a verbal dispute in the street outside Netley Abbey Infant School on Westwood Road.
"PCSOs attended the school between 8.30am and 9am this morning to provide reassurance to people outside the school."
The incident reportedly happened earlier this week.
