A HAMPSHIRE woman died from head injuries after an unwitnessed fall in her home, an inquest heard.
Diane Halls Dally from Broughton, was found in her bathroom by a neighbour on December 4 last year, Winchester Coroner's Court heard.
The court heard that the 71-year-old, of High Street, Broughton, had a history of falls, having suffered a bruised face in an incident two months prior to her death.
Pathologist Dr Adnan Al-Badri of Royal Hampshire County Hospital said Mrs Halls Dally suffered from bruising to the outside of her head as well as various areas of internal bleeding on her brain.
He added that her history of taking anti-coagulants - which help prevent blood clots - meant the bleeding would have been more prolonged.
Central Hampshire coroner Grahame Short recorded a conclusion of accidental death.
