FESTIVAL-GOERS donned their wellies as they headed to the Isle of Wight Festival, bracing themselves for a wet weekend of partying.
More than 50,000 revellers are making their way across Southampton Water, with those arriving at ferry terminals experiencing a soaking yesterday.
The weather forecast for the weekend is mixed, with Saturday due to be the warmest day as temperatures reach 18 degrees in the afternoon.
David Guetta, Rod Stewart, Zara Larsson, Bastille, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Texas and Arcade Fire are among the dozens of acts scheduled to appear at the 2017 event, as well as several local acts and musicians across the three days.
