Police shut a Hampshire motorway after a multi-vehicle accident resulted in a car bursting into flames.
The M3 northbound has since reopened after the crash near junction 8, which is currently causing delays of about 40 minutes back to Winchester services on the M3 and on the A303.
At its peak, there were delays of about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
According to the emergency services one of the vehicles - a Ford Focus - caught fire and another crashed into the central reservation.
Crews from Basingstoke and Andover fire stations were sent to the scene.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service confirmed two people were treated for minor injuries.
The spokesman said: "We sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance to the scene. Two occupants in the car were out of the vehicle on our arrival and were treated at the scene for minor injuries."
Excellent work by @Hants_fire to put the fire out. The A303(E) is closed from A33 to J8. The M3 (N) J8 is down to one lane. #24162 pic.twitter.com/PgDs2EnYTh
