THE first Polish Family Fun Day is coming to Southampton on June 25.

Award-winning marketing and events agency, GottaBe! in association with a Polish news portal, MagazynPL.co.uk are hosting the free event.

Festival-goers will be able to taste freshly prepared Polish food, listen to live music and also take part in a number of fun outdoor activities aimed at families.

The event, at St Mary’s Independent School in Midanbury Lane, will be officially opened by mayor of Southampton Cllr Les Harris and Assistant Chief Constable Scott Chiltern.

Participants will be able to take part in attractions including 45-minute fitness workout with TV show Next Top Model’s trainer, Kasia Rain, who is flying especially from Amsterdam.

Other attractions include a mini fun fair, bouncy castles, kids games and activities with children entertainer, face painting as well as 25 stalls of local and national companies.

There will also be live performances by local, Daniel Eagle, Jenni Monday, Steve Simpkins and Alex Laxton as well as a Polish band 3City Project from Bournemouth and Martin Fitch, a Polish Eurovision finalist.

The event runs from 11am to 7pm. On site parking is available.
