POLICE are hunting a man who failed to appear at court.
Sami Sajid Janjua, aged 37, is wanted in connection with a shoplifting offence in Wareham in July last year and for failing to answer court bail.
He has also breached his notification requirements under the Sexual Offences Act after being convicted at Winchester Crown Court of outraging public decency in 2011.
Janjua is described as white, of slim build, around five feet eight inches tall and with black greying hair and a beard.
Detective Constable John James, of Dorset Police, said: “I am releasing a photo of Sami Janjua in the hope that someone will know of his whereabouts.
“He was previously known to be living in the Bournemouth area but also has links to Hampshire and Wiltshire.
“Anyone who sees him should not approach him but immediately contact Dorset Police on 999.
“I would like to assure members of the public that officers are making every effort to locate Sami Janjua as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should call 101, quoting occurrence number 55170050741 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
