A CAR burst into flame just inches away from a petrol station in Hampshire.
Firefighters rushed to the Tesco petrol station in Bursledon after reports of a fire at around 10pm last night.
It is understood that the engine compartment caught fire but when a crew from Hightown fire station arrived to the scene the blaze had already been extinguished.
No-one was injured in the incident and firefighters left at 10.36pm.
