A LACK of volunteers has meant a community speedwatch scheme in a Hampshire village has stopped running.
At the last Kings Worthy Parish Council meeting it was proposed that due to a lack of people taking part that the scheme should stop running.
Community Speedwatch (CSW) is a national initiative where active members of local communities join with the support of the Police to monitor speeds of vehicles using speed detection devices.
It was agreed that the budget for the scheme of £1500 will be left with the Planning and Highways at the parish council.
