SOUTHAMPTON city centre was transformed into a swirl of colour as thousands gathered to celebrate Pride day.
Marchers flew flags and made their way from Guildhall Square down Above Bar Street before circling back for an evening of music and entertainment.
The star attraction was pop legend Sinitta, who offered the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience So Macho live.
Speaking at the event on Saturday, Southampton City Councillor Christopher Hammond said: "Events like this are so important for the community.
"A lot of young people think they might be the only person who is LGBQ, but this shows that people always come together.
"It's vital voices are heard, and it's easy to be quiet about this, but Southampton isn't a city to shy away."
