FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Southampton hotel after reports of smoke being seen.
Crews from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that a fire alarm at the Grand Harbour Hotel was activated due to cooking fumes coming from its kitchen.
Five fire engines from Redbridge, Hightown and St Mary’s fire station were called to the scene at 12.28pm and left at 12.57pm.
