We have our gripes in Britain but compared to the rest of the world we get it relatively easy.
Hurricanes, typhoons, tornadoes, earthquakes and
all other things that the natural world can throw at mankind are not part of our usual experience.
It is sad that many parts of the world which are poor seem to get the dangerous things that cause many deaths.
I thank my ancestors who deemed that this little island was where they should put their roots.
Okay it rains often, but it is a small price to pay for our safe environment.
