THOUSANDS of people flocked to the opening of Southampton's Christmas Markets this afternoon.
Boasting 40 stalls, the annual German market will once again offer up a variety of treats and presents ranging from mulled wine to Bratwurst.
It will remain on Above Bar Street until December 23.
