A HAMPSHIRE zoo is set to transform into a winter wonderland as Christmas fast approaches.
To get into the festive spirit, Marwell Wildlife will be turning the zoo’s Grade 1 listed manor house, Marwell Hall, into a number of fairytale scenes.
Visitors will first enter the magical winter forest where they will be greeted with a glass of mulled wine or blackcurrant and festive reindeer cookie, before Mother Christmas gives a reading of a tale inspired by The Nutcracker.
Families can then join the team of mischievous elves in their workshop where little ones will create their very own Christmas Eve plate to take home.
There will then be the opportunity to meet Father Christmas in his grotto for a photo.
Visitors are advised to book in advance for the sessions which run between November 18 and Christmas Eve.
