RAISING cash for Children in Need was a success for everyone who joined in events across Southampton this week.

Active Nation at Chamberlayne Leisure Centre was one of the organisations getting involved by taking part in Pedal for Pudsey.

Cycling to raise cash was Jumping Jacks Director Jade Smith 26, who lives in Woolston and Support Worker Busani Ncube.

Jumping Jacks Director Jade Smith 26, who lives in Woolston, said: "I love helping out to raise the money needed for children with disabilities, but I am also very completive when it comes to cycling so this event gives me a great opportunity to getting involved in children in need and raising as much money as we can."

Support Worker Busani Ncube said: ‘I like cycling because it keeps you fit and healthy but raising cash for less fortunate people is a bonus for me.’
