Concrete barriers placed at the end of Southampton shopping precinct as an anti terrorism defence.
HAVE just seen that Southampton City Council is wasting money on concrete barriers, supposedly to protect shoppers from terrorists.
This might be OK for stopping lorries or cars crashing into shoppers but there is nothing to stop suicide bombers getting among the daily/weekly and weekend shoppers should a bomber think it’s time the south suffered instead of London.
