The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court:
GARY PENFOLD, 30, of Irving Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Ordered to pay a victim charge of £30, a fine of £120 and costs of £85. He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 14 months.
YASMIN-JADE ANGOVE-MIDDLETON, 21, of Ordnance Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving while using a mobile phone. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £250. Also awarded six points on her licence.
KENNETH MARK MAWHINNEY, 31, of The Lakes, Swanmore, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving without insurance, a licence and under the influence of drugs. Fined £400 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.
ANTONIS ADAMOU, 20, of Testwood Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 14 months.
EMIL KOMUDA, 30, of Alfred Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing various power tools. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.
LEE DAVIE, 38, of Archers Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to causing harassment, alarm or distress by used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour. Fined £461 and ordered to pay compensation of £75 and costs of £85.
MATTHEW BRENDON CHAFE, 43 of Milton Court, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing £54 worth of alcohol from Sainsbury’s. Ordered to pay compensation of £54. He was also discharged conditionally for 12 months.
KYE COUZENS, 20, of Cardinal Place, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £230 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.
THOMAS CULLUM, 24, of Hunter Close, King’s Somborne. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £50. He was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.
BRIAN HILL, 48, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing a Google Home Speaker worth £129 from Curry’s. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20. He was also discharged conditionally for 12 months.
