EMERGENCY services have been called to reports that a person has been hit by a train at a Hampshire station.
British Transport Police were called to the scene at Netley at 10am this morning and said that ambulance workers are also at the station.
The railway line is currently closed between St Denys and Fareham in both directions and disruption is expected until 3pm.
A South Western Railway statement says: "In order to ensure the safety of the emergency services, and of all trains, passengers and crews, all trains in this area have to stop and will be at a stand until a safe operating environment has been re-established.
"The power supply has also been isolated in order that the emergency services may conduct their work safely.
"Emergency services are on site to deal with this incident."
