A SHOPPING centre has employed a team of workers armed with mistletoe to spread Christmas cheer by encouraging visitors to kiss under it.
Each of the festively-dressed shopping centre staff wear custom jackets with the plant sprouting out over their heads and then surprise families and couples doing their Christmas shopping.
Shoppers at the busy Westquay, are prompted to take part in the tradition by giving their loved one a peck.
Andy Collyer, general manager, said: "As shoppers continue to look for their Christmas gifts, we want to encourage our visitors to take a break and get involved with one of the most heartfelt Christmas traditions."
