A MAN has been jailed after failing to comply with requirements of the Sexual Offences Act.
Shaun Higginson pleaded guilty to failing to obeying the notification requirement of the order.
That required him to register his address weekly.
Southampton Magistrates’ Court heard the 44-year-old had failed to do this on a number of occasions.
He also pleaded guilty to damaging a shop window in Queensway, Southampton.
Higginson further admitted using threatening or abusive language which would cause a person harassment, alarm or distress.
In total, Higginson, of no fixed address, was sentenced by the magistrates to four months and 28 days’ imprisonment.
He was also fined £250 and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.
