VISITORS to a Hampshire bookshop were transported to Hogwarts as the store held a Harry Potter-themed extravaganza.
To celebrate Harry Potter Book Night 2018, Waterstones in The Brooks Shopping Centre in Winchester transformed its children's department into a school for young witches and wizards on Saturday.
Families in costume took part in magical activities throughout the day, including a spider trail and tracking down an escaped Niffler.
There was wizarding pick 'n' mix and youngsters even got to design their own Fantastic Beast for the chance to win a gift card.
Jo Macdonald from Waterstones said: "It's been really busy and we even ran out of sweets by lunchtime and had to run out for extra supplies.
"Everyone has been enjoying hunting nifflers, following the spider trail, and designing their own fantastic beast."
