A HAMPSHIRE woman died from a traumatic head injury after falling at home, an inquest heard.
Margaret Trim from Southampton hit her head after missing an armchair and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital where she underwent an operation to relive bleeding in her brain.
But the 74-year-old, who had a history of falls, died at Southampton General Hospital on October 24 last year.
Winchester Coroner's Court heard Ms Trim, of Queenstown Road, died of a sub-dural haematoma.
Central Hampshire coroner Grahame Short recorded a conclusion of accidental death.
