ONE of the biggest brands in outdoor clothing is to give a talk in Winchester on responsible business.
Ethical clothing giant Patagonia aims to ‘build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis’.
The American retailer markets all its clothes as sustainable and commits to many environmental and political initiatives.
In 2017, it hit the headlines for suing the United States government and president Donald Trump for revoking protection of Bears Ears National Monument, stating that it was unlawful and dishonoured Native American culture.
Alex Beasley, country manager for UK and Ireland, will speak at Winchester University on February 21 at 6.30pm in the West Downs Centre, Romsey Road.
Refreshments are available from 6pm and the event will be followed by a light buffet and networking at 8pm. Attendance: free.
