A SOUTHAMPTON hotel was evacuated this morning.
Around 50 guests waited on the street while crews from Redbridge fire station attended the incident at the New Road site, at 5am this morning.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said the alarm was set off after water entered it from a leaking boiler - but there was no fire.
A manager at the hotel said: "The company won't comment but all guests were kept completely safe."
