A WOMAN was found unconscious near TGI Fridays in the early hours.

Police are appealing for information after the 22-year-old was discovered between midnight and 2am on Thursday.

The woman, from Southampton, was found near on Harbour Parade.

A member of the public called an ambulance and the woman was taken to Southampton General Hospital.

She has since been discharged.

Officers in the area would like to ascertain the exact circumstances of what happened that night.
