POLICE have arrested three men after cash and drugs were seized from a car in Winchester.
Officers stopped a car in St Cross Road yesterday afternoon where they found cash, mobile phones and a small quantity of cannabis.
The incident, carried out shortly after 2.30pm, was part of Hampshire Constabulary's 'Operation Fortress' and involved a Volkswagen Golf.
A police spokesman confirmed three men – a 17-year-old from Buckinghamshire, a 20-year-old of no fixed abode, and a 43-year-old from Basingstoke – had been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences as a result.
The spokesman added: "They have been released but remain under investigation."
