SUNSHINE drew the crowds to Romsey's War Memorial Park for the Mayor's Picnic.
The annual event, always held on the first Sunday in July, was organised by the Rotary Club of Romsey Test and showcases the work of many local organisations and charities as well featuring, stalls and games.
It saw the crowning of this year's Carnival “Royal Party” - carnival queen Ellie Luffman, her attendants Ella Little and Kestrel Marsh, and senior carnival queen Allison Little – by town mayor Dorothy Baverstock.
A regular features is the duck race down the Test - this year the winning duck belonged to Karolina Bunker who won £50.
