REGARDING recent letters about the negative appearance of Southampton to visitors, would it not be a good idea to paint or decorate the anti- terrorist concrete blocks that sit either end of the precinct?
I realise the reason for their being but do they have to be so grey and ugly?
At Wembley they are covered with a green grass matting and look very effective. Could the council not do something similar or even paint them in the red and white of the Saints?
