ONE of Hampshire’s most popular summer attraction got off to a sunny start yesterday.
Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show, which continues at Meadow Mead Farm today and tomorrow, saw horsepower in many forms – from steam engines, veteran motorcycles, classic cars and real-life equines in the shape of the Galloping Acrobats stunt riders. Other attractions in the ring included the Tigers Motorcycle Display Team, Fair Oak Dog Agility Team and a show by South Wilts Falconry.
In addition to the vintage transport attractions, the show features a licensed bar and a food hall and the thrills of Charles Cole Funfair.
Formerly known as the Netley Marsh Steam Rally, the event has been wowing the crowds for almost half a century and raised more than £400,000 for local charities.
