A SUPERMARKET has reopened after a refurbishment, creating two new jobs.
The Aldi store on Mumby Road, Gosport, has thrown open its doors after the revamp.
The supermarket now has a new customer focused layout which it says will allow products to be found more easily.
The transformation is part of Aldi’s £300m investment into improving its stores and service across the UK, and is based on feedback from more than 50,000 customers.
It says the store is “cleverly crafted to increase employee efficiencies” and believes the layout ensures Aldi “continues to pass its low operating costs on to customers in the form of low prices.”
The refurbishment has also created an additional two jobs to the 22 members of the local community already employed.
Aldi Store Manager, Mark Morrill, said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves.”
