A COUPLE have been left “devastated” after not receiving their wedding video more than a year after their special day.

Amy and Lee Purdy booked Southampton-based company Sirius Cinematography to film their May 2017 £35,000 wedding at a luxury Hampshire venue.

But they say despite having paid £1,200 for their video the company – which is run by Shani Clarke and Kristiina Meister – they still haven’t delivered the goods.

It’s the second couple who have come to the Daily Echo after not receiving their video from Sirius.

As reported Mariana and Stuart Powell paid £1,500 for their wedding film – but only received it 17 months later after the Daily Echo covered their story.

Now Amy, 29, a social worker, said she too is still waiting after booking the company a year before their wedding at New Forest venue Rhinefield House Hotel.

They paid a deposit before paying the full amount a week before the event – but said they didn’t ask when they could expect to get their footage.

Amy said:”My dad paid for the video. We’re all really upset. It’s frustrating.

“We believed that they would be a reliable company as we found their service to be polite and professional when we first met Shani and Kristina at a wedding fair.

“Both Shani and Kristina Meister filmed our wedding day – however, we are yet to receive our video over a year later.

“We have been given excuse after excuse and now we are not getting any response to messages or calls.

“We have lost family members who were unable to attend our wedding and never got to see our special day on video which we are absolutely devastated about.

“All we have been sent is an unedited 10 second clip which I begged for just so I had something to look back on from our day.”

The couple say that despite contacting the company almost every month since September last year they have still not received their video.

The Daily Echo has tried to contact the company but has yet to receive a response.
