A YOUNG woman has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on a motorway slip-road.
The woman, 21, was freed from the car after crashing on Hockley Link, near to junction 11 of the M3.
Police, fire and paramedics raced to the crash near Winchester after the car, a Mini, crashed off the road around 2am.
The car was seriously damaged in the crash, according to firefighters.
One person was extricated by crews from Winchester and Eastleigh.
They were handed over to South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) who sent paramedics from their Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).
Police say they have been rushed to Southampton General Hospital with 'serious injuries'.
A spokesperson said: "We were called just before 2am on August 13 to a single vehicle collision on the slip road at junction 11 on the M3.
"The 21-year-old female driver suffered serious injuries and taken to hospital"
