A PROTEST march dedicated to murdered schoolgirl Lucy McHugh is due to take place in Southampton on this afternoon.
The marchers will gather at the Bargate to start at 4pm and walk up through the city centre to the Crown Court on London Road.
The event has been organised by TRAP, the Southampton-based vigilante paedophile hunters.
The police have been liaising with the organisers and say they are expecting 600+ people to take part.
They have been in contact with the chamber of commerce to warn them about possible congestion in the city centre.
The march is being held as the police continue their investigation into 13-year-old Lucy's murder in July. Her body was found in woodland at Southampton Sports Centre on July 26.
