TALKING to bus passengers today we came up with an idea for the council – use the area left by Toys R Us building as a bus station!
Its proximity to the rail station and National Express coaches would be advantageous. When visitors arrive in coach station in the evenings there is no coffee shop/toilet. The overloaded area near Westquay is virtually at standstill with both Blue/Red/First buses trying to drive through.
Come on, Southampton City Council get a grip! The tourists tourists and us residents need a bus station.
