FIREFIGHTERS rushed to a house fire in Southampton.
Crews were called to a property in Marston Road, Thornhill after reports of a fire shortly after 1am today.
The fire broke out on the first floor of the building but no-one was injured.
Two crews from Hightwon and one from St Mary's fire station were sent to the scene.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire investigation team is looking into the cause of the incident.
The Daily Echo understands the incident is being treated as arson.
But a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
