You may recall the Echo reported that a group of caravans and cars had parked up on the verge between Tesco Express(used to be Woodman pub) and the roundabout by Sainsbury at Lordshill.
First thing I noticed was that they had French registration plates.
Then as they left the site six days later they had cleared all their rubbish up put it in black bin bags and put them in neat piles.
Why then do our British and Irish travellers not do the same.
Apart from staying on land that they do not have permission to stay on, the biggest problem is the disgusting mess they leave behind.
If these people were indeed French travellers they could teach our travellers how to respect other people’s property.
