WITH the Littleton and Harestock show taking place this weekend, the Daily Echo takes a look back at the event on a special year.
Villagers turned out in large numbers on September 2, 1995, to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the show.
The recreation ground in Littleton was crammed with stalls, each stacked with traditional crafts and local produce.
Games were also on offer, such as hoop-la and the coconut shy.
The show also boasted the largest flower show in the county that year, attracting more than 11,000 entrants.
Other attractions included a junior football tournament, a fancy dress parade, an army assault course for youngsters and a display by the Hampshire Constabulary Blue Lights motorcycle display team.
Other tastes were catered for by the second-hand book stalls and a beer tent.
