THE BODY of a man who jumped from a Wightlink ferry last week has been found near Portsmouth Harbour this morning.
Officers were called at 7.16am after the body of a man was located in the water near Haslar Wall.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary told the County Press today that the body recovered was the same man that jumped from the ferry last Wednesday and his next of kin have been informed.
The body, which was recovered by the Ministry of Defence Police, has been identified as a 58-year-old from Southsea.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
