A BUSY road has been closed after a four-vehicle collision this morning.

Traffic is building around Thornhill Park Road following the crash at around 7.30am.

Two people suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.

Police said the matter had been handed over to the highways agency to resolve issues of damage on the road.

Butcher Sam Potts, 20, a butcher at Layli’s shop said: "I came out and got sent out to phone theemergency services.

"There was a lot of people stopping and helping out.

"We are always worried about the junction because there are a lot of people that have got to be careful there.

"There’s always beeping at people. It’s a very risky junction."
