THE following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates Court:

Daniel James Savory, 30, of Falkland Road, Chandler’s Ford. Pleaded guilty to failing to identify a driver suspected of committing an offence. Fined £280, with £85 costs, and told to pay £30 victim services surcharge.

Shane Lyle Bartlett, 30, of Landguard Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing goods valued at £54 from Tesco. Committed to prison for eight weeks, suspended for six months, and told to pay £30 compensation. Also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Committed to prison for eight weeks, suspended for six months.

Cristina Corlan, 44, of Tylers Close, Lymington. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Community order, banned from driving for 26 months, £85 costs, £85 victim services surcharge.

Jamie Anthony Rostigina, 35, of Jowitt Drive, New Milton. Pleaded guilty to stealing, jointly with another, a Lazee Boy Spa Bath valued at £299 from Tesco. Community order, £299 compensation order. Also pleaded guilty to stealing, jointly with another, a trampoline valued at £150 from Tesco. Community order.

Benjamin David Woodford, 28, of Denzil Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing a handbag, a mobile phone and bank cards. Community order, £352 compensation order. Also pleaded guilty to committing fraud by using a stolen bank card to withdraw £200. Community order, £200 compensation order.

Thomas Matthew Waldron, 31, of Culverley Close, Brockenhurst. Pleaded guilty to exceeding speed limit. Driving record endorsed with three penalty points, £70 fine, £30 victim services surcharge.

Kurt Andrew Childs, 28, of Birdfield Valley Park, Chandler’s Ford. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with suspended sentence order. Fined £1,000 with £60 costs.

Gary Samuel Moule, 32, of Southampton Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Told to pay £50 compensation and £25 costs.

Jack Anthony Smith, 28, of Chatsworth Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Banned from driving for 12 months, fined £550 with £85 costs and £55 victim services surcharge.

Carl Ian Butler, 34, of Foxcroft Drive, Holbury. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Banned from driving for 13 months, fined £400 with £85 costs and £40 victim services surcharge.

Lauren Greenwood, 26, of Emer Close, North Baddesley. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Banned from driving for 26 months, community order, £110 fine, £85 victim services surcharge.

Suzanne Nixon, 37, of Conifer Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to making false statement to obtain benefit. Community order, £85 victim services surcharge. Also pleaded guilty to failing to divulge a change of circumstances which could affect entitlement to housing benefit. Community order. Also admitted making false statement to Department for Work and Pensions. Community order.

Andrew Redknapp, 19, of Ellwood Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to criminal damage. Told to pay £60 compensation and £85 costs.

Darren Thomas Gray, 50, of Anson Drive, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving without a licence. Fined £110 with £85 costs and £30 victim services surcharge. Also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. Driving record endorsed.

Saunder Pain, 52, of Player Court, Fordingbridge. Pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled class B drug. Six-month conditional discharge, £20 victim services surcharge.

Harry Alex Callaway, 18, of Wessex Estate, Ringwood. Pleaded guilty to assault. Community order, £50 fine, £100 compensation order, £50 costs.

David Arthur Gregory, 57, of Winchester Road, Boorley Green, Hedge End. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £246 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.
