MCDONALD’S volunteers have come together to renovate a Swaythling neighbourhood centre.
Franchisee Tony Bennett of Swaythling, and crew from his McDonald’s restaurants in the surrounding area, gave up their time to give a face-lift to the neighbourhood centre on Hampton Park Way.
The group consisted of both staff members and managers working along side a carpenter from Lewis Builders, who helped re-build the stage in the main hall by reducing it in size and making it safe for use.
Mr Bennett, who owns and operates fifteen restaurants across the local area, said: “I was really proud to see everyone come together and help spruce up the neighbourhood centre.
“It’s a key priority of ours to ensure that the local area remains an enjoyable place to live, work and visit.”
