A MAJOR road was closed in both directions after a 'serious' crash.
The A36 between Southampton and Salisbury was shut near Landford while police deal with the serious collision.
It took place between A3090 Ower and the A27 Whiteparish.
The road was expected to be closed for several hours and drivers were advised to plan ahead if travelling this morning.

However, the road is now open in both directions.
According to traffic bosses, there are short delays on approach.
