STAFF at a Southampton school are celebrating after Ofsted inspectors rated them "outstanding" - for the fourth time in a row.

The team at Rosewood Free School on Aldermoor Road were praised for their "extraordinary level of ambition for the pupils in their care" while head teacher Zoe Evans was praised for her "unrelenting drive for continual and sustained improvement."

Speaking to the Daily Echo Ms Evans - who has been at the school since 2004 - praised her staff and said: "We are not outstanding because we do what Ofsted want but because we meet the needs of our children.

"We are the first Southampton school to get four outstanding resports in a row."

The school is also celebrating its new provision for 19-25 year olds. Avenues 2 is housed in a classroom on site, teaching 13 19-25-year-olds.
