A MAN has been charged following a robbery at an Eastleigh shop.
William John Campbell, 32, of Kerry Close, Chandler's Ford has been charged with robbery and is due to appear before Southampton Magistrates Court today.
It comes after officers were called to the Co-op store in Passfield Avenue, Eastleigh at 12.09am on Thursday.
As previously reported, a man entered the shop with a knife and locked staff members in an office before stealing £6,000 and fleeing on foot.
Officers found the man at 12.25am and recovered a bag with £6,000.
No-one was injured in the incident.
