'PLEASE stick to the diversion routes'.
That's the plea from road bosses ahead of the closure of the M27 this weekend.
Drivers going westbound face a monster 58 mile diversion route going westbound when the M27 closes between junctions 3 and 5.
The motorway is being closed to allow for the removal of Romsey Road Bridge - which carries traffic over the road between Southampton and Romsey.

But traffic bosses are urging drivers to stick to the diversion routes, in a bid to keep traffic moving.
John Henderson, Highways England route sponsor, said: "There will be signed diversion routes and we would ask all drivers to stick to those diversion routes.
"They've been designed in collaboration with Southampton City Council and Hampshire County Council as the best way to keep traffic moving."
The closure is set to begin from 10pm tonight.
