A man appeared in court today in connection with an attempted armed robbery outside a Hampshire bank in which two alleged accomplices were shot dead by police.
Terence Wallace, of Oakwood Road, Raynes Park, south west London, is charged with attempted robbery and possession of a firearm.
The offences are said to be connected to the incident outside the HSBC bank in Chandler's Ford on Thursday.
At Wimbledon Magistrates' Court today 25-year-old Wallace was remanded in custody to appear before Kingston Crown Court on September 25.
The police watchdog, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), today officially named the two men shot dead by officers during the foiled bank raid.
