The following cases were among those heard at Southampton Magistrates Court.

Daniel Peter Michael Adams, 18, of Spring Crescent, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to being in possession of a class-A substance, namely MDMA. Fined £45 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

Grant Pearce, 35, of Milton Road, Charminster, Bournemouth. Pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly on Station Road, New Milton. Discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay £20 costs.

David Arthur John Holmes, 37, of Kentish Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Community order made, including requirement to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work within the next 12 months. Ordered to pay £150 compensation, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.

Cally Kwong, 39, of Shirley Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drunk-driving on Shirley Road. Fined £260. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. Also banned from driving for 12 months.

Tom Willis, 20, of Ashdown Road, Fawley, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to drunk-driving on The Avenue, Southampton, and driving without relevant insurance. Community order made, including requirement to carry out 150 hours’ unpaid work. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge. Banned from driving for 20 months.

Anne Elizabeth Fellows, 52, of Mandela Way, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault and causing damage to a window belonging to the Department for Work and Pensions. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

Samuel Emile Jope, 31, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to resisting a constable in the execution of his duty. Fined £100. Ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Steven Whiting, 52, of Burgess Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing four bottles of wine on three occasions from Shell UK. Fined £150. Ordered to pay £36.55 compensation, £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Shane Lyle Bartlett, 30, of Landguard Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat and food products worth £70 from the Co-op. Community order made, including electronically tagged curfew. Ordered to pay £70 compensation, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.

Jeanette Burke, 62, of Beechwood Road, Holbury, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to drunk-driving on Long Lane, Holbury. Fined £360. Ordered to pay £85 costs and £36 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for two years.
